It's now been a few weeks since the annual ski trip and I'm sitting here in a Hostel in Cusco, Peru relaxing before our 7 day backpacking trip coming. More on Peru in my next blog.
Back to the Ski Trip... So I arrived in Denver,CO on Thursday night (2/12) and headed over to Carl's place who I haven't seen for a while and he let me crash there before I head up to Breckenridge the next morning. We ended up just talking about the days in the past till about 2 in the morning. In the AM I picked up Felix from his cousin's house and then proceeded to pickup 3 other passengers that I haven't meet before. It was a packed truck and we started our 2 hour ride up to the cabin. We finally arrived to this humongous cabin. The largest cabin I have ever seen. It had about 7 bedroom (enough to fit about 40 of us) 2 hot tubs, a full bar, pool room and "karaoke" room.

I must comment on the snow though. The snow was f'ing awesome, the best that I have boarded on in a long while. It was so soft and fluffy. A must go back to resort.
{Sinpet from an email}
Well the busy week is finally over and it's now time to look back to the beginning of this week when all of us was probably a little hung over or a little sore from the hard core riding/skiing/sledding that was accomplished. I had yet again another awesome trip, not sure how you guys top yourself year after year, but keep up the great work.
So without further adieu I would like to thank:
CB for planning and finding such an awesome house for us to stay at. MS for the ski trip video and also never turning down a shot when offered. GH for keeping the virgin "initiation" tradition alive. JK for his splendid strawberry margaritas. AM for the ski trip CD. JM for the "unauthorized" ski trip cd. FD for his homemade french fries. Old Man for not once acting his age. CM for making those adorable pieces of flair. JA for starting the dance parties every night. Bek for enlightening me with a story on the way to the cabin. BF for agreeing it's freezing and time to get off the mountain. MH and DH for hooking us up with discounted tickets which I still haven't paid for so please let me know how much I owe. LC for always finding a way to show up at 3 am. BG for always on the ready with the camera. AP, CH & KH for staying in the hot tub until we pruned beyond recognition. Other Julie for bringing competition karaoke. SO for enduring my snoring in the same room. Big John for saying "We're doing this live" or "That's what she said" about 1000 times this weekend. So as you can see this is only a glimpse of a few people who made a difference in such a short time in my eyes. Without one of them it just wouldn't have been the same. Yes there were many, so many more people but this email is getting super long so I'll stop soon. But thanks again to everyone who played beer pong, flip clip, taught me the game of baseball, danced all night, all the new virgins this year whom I'm still trying to figure out the one that hit me in the eye with an ice ball.
